This company has the worst culture, ethics and attitude of any company I have ever worked for. Micro-management is a standard, processes are nowhere to be found and progression is a myth. Carrots will be dangled about the potential for progression, along with a theory of a new purpose-built factory that they plan to invest in (something they have promised staff for several years), none of which will come to fruition. Pay increases will be determined by a scale of how they value you, most staff members are held back due to the companies lack of investment in your eduction around their product and processes. Many of the staff complain about their wages openly, and groups will converse about their exit plan into another job due to the lack of respect, pay and attitude toward staff. The machinery can be dated back to the 70's, constantly breaking down and causing issues with production, something which Frenger aren't happy to confront. This causes issues not only for the staff working within the company, but also for the customers in which they supply; although their attitude toward missing deadlines seems to be very relaxed. No MRP / ERP system is in place, this meaning that the entire operation is ran on broken and sub-par Excel worksheets, again, something that frenger do not want to confront or improve. Production drawings (or even working / up-to-date information) is not provided to staff, each process, part and assembly will be described to you in person at each stage, if that. If you seek a workplace that values your opinion (even if not implemented), this is not the company to work for. If you value progression and a job which fulfills you, this is not the company to work for. If you accept an interview, please take the promises with a handfull of salt, the management team can be very quick to change their mind.
