GDR is a great place to work!

Pros

I've worked for the company for quite some time now. Most of the Senior Management has been with the company long-term as well. The company promotes internal growth and communication.

Cons

The company treats their employees as members of their extended family. If you are looking for a large, corporate feel - this probably isn't the right fit for you.

Pros

Some friendly people to work with.

Cons

Everyone backstabs (and I mean everyone). As a contracted employee you must always walk on eggshells around Broadcom employees. Incompetent, greedy managers (Broadcom). No work culture or structure. Way too much stress for the amount of work given and the expectations placed upon you. Absolutely no training. You will be thrown under the bus for anything and everything by Broadcom employees and GDR group employees as well. Highest turnover rate I've ever seen.

Pros

Some of the best coworkers I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The reason I stayed around for as long as I did is because I loved working with the people I worked with. The benefits are okay nothing horrible yet nothing amazing. Paid holidays Free meals sometimes

Cons

It's all office politics with GDR. At least at the Broadcom office. Unless you are in with the management team you are not going anywhere with this company. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people get away with something that others wouldn't just because they are friends with management. Turn over rate in IT is high and it's hard to keep the good ones do to substandard pay. Kick you to the curb attitude. If they don't like you for whatever reason, you are gone simple as that. Also don't try and speak up about anything or you will be asked to come into a meeting on a Friday with HR to be shown the door.
