Pros

The benefits are decent and most of the staff are good people.

Cons

Management is very poor and directionless. While an employee-owned company, One or two principals high on the totem pole control the place for personal gain using abusive tactics and manipulation to get their way. This has unfortunately created high turnover as the morale is lower than low. Promotions go to favorites and are based on little and not those that deserve it. A sexist environment that values looks over brains and even in those cases, very rarely are women promoted. Work / life balance is non-existent and if you have a family you'll rarely see them and will be chastised for trying. The Milwaukee office has serious issues that are ignored by the head office.

Pros

Flexibility and a great balance between work and home. They truly cared about their employees. Wonderful compensation program and EXCELLENT benefits. They had fun events throughout the year to keep employees engaged and happy. Easy access for commuting or riding the bus. Excellent mix of quality talent, great co-workers and friends.

Cons

This was a great company to work for in the beginning, before they go too big for their britches. Too many chiefs, not enough workers. Management is very hands-off, so if something fails they aren't to blame, but they also take all of the credit if the project goes well. They hand out "Titles" like they are candy. If you are Engineer, then you are given the status of "Associate". There weren't opportunities for advancement or training. The worst part was the lack of recognition for a job well done. Lack of marketing for new projects, really brought this firm to it's knees.
