Pros

Little oversight. No one really gives a crap about what you do as long as you get it done. Flat hierarchy and interaction with people of different seniority levels.

Cons

Dreadful and uncollaborative company culture. People just want to do what they need to do and stick to the status quo. Very little structure/mentorship and real progression is not really common to come by. Extremely outdated technology and resistant to changes, makes day to day work a pain sometimes.

Pros

Some supportive teammates and exposure to different parts of the business

Cons

HR is unprofessional. Dismiss employee concerns and sides with management rather than addressing real problems. Long working hour and heavy micro management culture. Full of office politics while they claim 0 politics. Limited internal mobility. No career progression.

Pros

Exposure to trade finance operations within a commodity environment Hands-on experience with real transactions

Cons

A major concern is the management style and workplace culture. There are repeated patterns of highly unprofessional behavior, including: Use of vulgar language and verbal aggression by management One-on-one closed-door meetings where employees are subjected to personal criticism and humiliation Intimidating communication style that creates fear rather than support Unrealistic expectations without proper training or resources Lack of constructive feedback, with focus on blame instead of development This environment creates significant stress and negatively impacts both learning and performance, especially for new joiners. Lack of psychological safety No structured training or proper processes
