Company has good values, the CEO is a dictator
Pros
They have an on-site barista and a nice office.
Cons
When you begin at this company, it feels like the most positive and empowering place to be. Give it a month. Their management and leadership are all in 'positions of power' and they act as such. As far as age demographics go, believe it or not, they're all fairly young, but as the company is run by a man who genuinely believes he is making good and kind decisions, when the impact is entirely the opposite, its no wonder the management reflect the unfair judgement and treatment to staff. But usually this is never done in front of others, it's done through careful wording and targeting. Within the space of 6 months over 5 employees were apparently 'asked to resign' rather than management 'look bad' for dismissing them on unfair terms. I wasn't the first, but seeing the treatment THEN having it come towards me was just... BAD. The way they navigate business is shocking, and its mind-blowing that the company has been so successful. I was approached by ex-co-workers for statements on my treatment, perhaps that means people have reported the company, and to be honest, I don't blame them for it.
