Pros
There are technically interesting projects within offshore geotechnical engineering, and you can quickly take on responsibility.
Cons
The overall work environment is highly stressful. Late evening calls and pressure to work overtime are common. Communication from management often comes through raised voices or dismissive behavior, and employees frequently feel ignored rather than supported. Leadership roles appear to be given based on seniority instead of leadership skills, which worsens the culture.
