Pros

Learn a lot about digital in a short amount of time Decent benefits

Cons

Extremely negative work environment High turnover - lots of quitting and LOTS of firing Management has no training and doesn't know what they're doing IB was recently acquired by Nexstar Broadcasting, which has an even worse reputation as an employer, management-wise and salary-wise Little to no advancement opportunities

Pros

people there are extremely cool to work with. one of the best companies I've worked with. Very young company in regards to employees. new building, fun environment. Relatively easy to take off work, as management is accommodating for late starts due to traffic or unexpected tardiness.

Cons

little to no room for growth. Management operates on a 'no news is good news' policy. Company-wide salary freeze for the last 3 years. Employees don't have any faith in their CEO. When asked about the opinion of IB's future, the standard knee-jerk response is, "sinking ship."

Pros

Filled with great people who believe in the mission. Coworkers have fun but treat you with respect. Boss was very supportive, especially in tense times.

Cons

Lots of employee turnover because it's a volatile business. Also, CEO changes every three years and long-term employees are leaving, which isn't a good sign.
