Good benefits. Quality outputs & reputation is good for the CV when you move on, the academy (training) is excellent.
Cons
Lots of sharp elbows, everyone is always over capacity, long hours, presenteism .
They make a big thing of the culture and all the groups - but actually the lived experience of 90% is they are stressed out and over worked.
Too many internal processes Too much manual work Will end up doing non research work more than actual research Need to fight with other departments to get approvals and get to do their job Researcher is blamed for any issue with the study RPM is a total waste of time and resource for quant not sure why they exist if it's just middle men just passing messages around. Poor culture within team and company and no help is offered if you get stuck and everyone suspects everybody for some reason. There's a general sense of uneasiness
