Pros

Company vehicles are new and clean. A.C. works well. Culture was positive at the beginning.

Cons

Previous manager was fired unjustly without any warning and reason not very fair. New manager has no passion for drivers. Dispatchers treat us like dirt. Very bad communication to drivers when work schedule is changed. Routes keep getting more complicated. Days reduced to make overtime diminish. Negative work culture only tell you wha1t you do wrong.

Pros

Working alone in the company vehicle, unlimited break time

Cons

Not being paid, or not being paid on time. Very poor communication from management. Coming to work and being told there is no more work available for the day. The website says 14 and hour, they only pay 12 an hour.

Pros

Don't have to use your own vehicle

Cons

Delivering packages for Amazon from their distribution center seems better than the independent Flex driver jobs who use their own vehicles. Wrong! U-Haul vans are ill-equipped for poor weather conditions and bad roads. You have to provide all your own ice scrapers, de-icer, etc. The navigation app, Rabbit, is better than others, but still wastes precious time avoiding left turns, and sending you back to the same street you delivered to an hour ago. Or dead ends. Or traffic-jammed highways. Or high crime areas. Amazon wants you to drive and deliver a certain way, JARS says to do it quickly but safely (lol), while overwhelming you with 200+ packages you allegedly have 10 hours to deliver (8 am-8pm), but they yell at you or have someone follow you to "observe" why you're too slow. Pay is $8/hr, plus a fickle $20 daily safety bonus, and $30 daily productivity bonus for finishing your route early. They advertise $150/day...You'll never earn that. Dispatch plays favorites, and gives out the better routes to their buddies, and stiffs others on bonuses. You're pressured to go fast, finish early, and follow conflicting rules, which is impossible! You'll be stressed, exhausted and frustrated because of all the politics, wrong/short-changed paychecks, high school atmosphere, inept pickers who always get bags wrong/in the wrong place/missing or misplaced packages, disorganized/inexperienced managers, horrible traffic, nowhere to park safely, rude customers, nightmare navigation, physical pain and injuries etc. Not worth the $8 an hour. Worst delivery jobs out there. Driver pizzas instead.
