Leadership needs revamping

Pros

Work from home policy 2-3 days a week

Cons

1. Turnover rate is insane. Numerous Directors leaving every week, positions left empty for months and months and workload trickles down continuously. 2. Leadership have no technical skills and knowledge. All talk and no work. Lack direction, lack decision making ability, lack of knowledge in science. 3. People are extremely self centred and competition is high 4. No work life balance 5. Wants to give the impression of a science driven brand but the truth is that the science is barely there, scientists are not provided proper training 6. Zero technical onboarding, you are expected to learn everything on the job by yourself 7. Intense budget cuts happening now, please run as far as you can

Pros

Work-life balance Hybrid working condition Good benefits

Cons

Global people in US HQ are incompetent and constantly bullying regional/local colleagues. Favoritism plays a much larger role than competency.

Pros

Hardworking peers who are very helpful and do a lot of “heavy lifting” for the organisation. Friendly and helpful culture with senior leaders always emphasising about health and emotional well being.

Cons

Director levels can be (not all) arrogant, and incompetent. Those who have been here for years behave like a high school sorority and have their own cliques. Bad mouthing is rampant and instead of looking at improving work situations, these directors end up complaining about each other to their peers. Mentorship and guidance is highly dependent on whether your own boss has this skill/ interest. There is a clear preference to work with fellow directors that are of the same skin colour, even thought the organisation proudly proclaims DEI and does not condone racism, however these biases clearly still exist and are sometimes subtly articulated.
