Pros

The professional shown throughout the company was encouraging as a junior employee. No matter what level, everyone was willing to help others grow, while showcasing an example of dedicate to their work. Managements were very influential in growth and development. Clients were great, and Kickstand always did a great job making sure accounts were staffed correctly. Professionalism and organization was impressive. If this is your first agency, understand that the benefits are great.

Cons

Junior employees/those coming from a different field may have a tougher time picking up the industry through the remote nature of agency.

Low pay, heavy workload, and poor management

Pros

You get every other Friday off (though it really just means squeezing a full 40-hour workload into four days). Some talented coworkers who genuinely care about their work.

Cons

Working here has been a frustrating experience. The pay is far below industry standards, and the workload is overwhelming. When juniors are overloaded with tasks, management simply blames it on “efficiency issues” instead of showing understanding or addressing the root cause. There’s very little empathy or support from leadership. Turnover is extremely high, and the remaining staff are constantly stretched thin. You can be assigned to a new account and expected to take full responsibility almost immediately, with minimal onboarding or guidance. The company is going through constant internal changes, but instead of solving problems, management seems to make things worse — even laying off some of the most competent and hardworking employees who actually drive results and revenue. Favoritism is another major issue. Promotions and recognition often depend on who you know, not the quality of your work. Overall, the company feels unstable and poorly managed. It’s hard to stay motivated when the people doing the real work are underpaid, overworked, and undervalued.
