- Old-school recruitment micromanagers (mostly from SThree).
- Workr software requires your webcam to be on all the time so management can watch you in your own home to ensure you're working.
- They use a mobile app which records the number and duration of phone calls.
- I joined in a cohort of 6-7 people which they called the 'Academy' however everyone left within 6 months.
- Management asked us to work longer hours to compensate for not having to commute. They would simultaneously claim not to care what hours we work as long as we get the job done, but then go on (and on and on and on) about work hours.
- Non-existent client base or candidate network.
- Only one person in the office was billing anything whilst I was there, perhaps the cause of (or caused by?) the micro-management and unnecessary pressure.
- Low salaries.
