Beware for many reasons

Pros

The main teaching staff are great, friendly and energetic. The co-workers have great energy and are very talented at what they do.

Cons

Management are chaotic. They display favourotism for the ones that will work beyond hours without extra pay. Everyone is payed different salaries regardless if they the teachers are professional, educated or certified. In many cases, teachers who are extremely talented, acredited and experienced are severely undervalued and underpaid in comparison to the teachers they have who have are not. The management do not hold any degrees, certificates or are acredited in education and are not educators. They are business savy people who know how to sell and extort uneducated parents and push private lessons and tuition on 3 year old children! Staff do not get prep time during the time they work and its almost expected the staff to work beyond hours to get tasks done.

Pros

The children are lovely and smart. Lots of singing, dancing and music.

Cons

1. They advertise for the position of teacher but they are really looking for daycare staff. Especially if you are a woman, non-White, and if you belong to a non-native English speaking country. Be prepared to change PLENTY of diapers each day, clean the kids, clean the classrooms, get kids changed, chasing after them during playtime, etc. It is not a teaching position. 2. Only women teachers are allowed to accompany students to the bathroom, thus, you will have more physical work if you are a female "teacher" since you will have to help change their clothes, shoes and diapers. 3. Diaper changes are mandatory and once an hour so definitely be prepared for this. 4. The "White" teachers (and definitely not the male teachers) are not too involved in the daycare activities, so if you are POC, this will 100% fall to you. 5. No fixed schedule, no prep time, no specific curriculum. It is quite overwhelming when you have to lead a class. You are completely on your own and without any time to have prepared in advance so you have to come up with activities on the spot or 10-15 minutes prior to class. 6. Even if you had some prep time and prepared materials for an upcoming class, the schedule will change and you will no longer need your materials. 7. You will be running up and down throughout the school, helping various classes, especially the most exhausting classes downstairs. The older students don't need as much help thus you will rarely be sent to "teach" on their floor. Rather, you will be with the much younger kids most of the time. 8. Some older teachers think they are your boss and will proceed to boss you around rather than treat you like a coworker if you are new and/or young. 9. The salary is NOT AT ALL as advertised. You will receive a daily rate; this daily rate does not add up to their advertised amount.
