we have built the business on the basis on trust and honesty. We pay employees on time and don't see how else employees can be lied to. It is interesting to have a review from existing employee of 4 years working in a "fraudulent" company. The first thing that come to mind is the authenticity of the review. As a small company, we are very focused on work quality in order to succeed.

Pros

Comfortable office space. Flexible Lunch Timing Very friendly RO Nice peers Nice helpful HR Can go off on time.

Cons

No lunch buddies, all already have their own clique. Need to remove shoes when entering - troublesome. Machines are old and badly in need of overhaul and better spec. Work is expected to be done with no leading and instructions. Customers are King. Employees get warning letters over being late for 5 mins at customer site despite rain and traffic. Can't claim personal transport. Bad way of doing requirements gathering. Egoistic management. Only interested in bringing their kids and play in office instead of focusing on work. No career growth. No personnel growth.

Pros

Self development/improvement is highly valued. Employees are encouraged to pursue professional certifications and attend work-related seminar/workshops/courses whenever possible. Examination fees are reimbursable upon passing. Flat hierarchy, so no need to go through layers and layers of red tape to get things done. Management is readily available and willing to listen to any constructive feedback you have to offer.

Cons

Project deadlines are typically predetermined before estimation of effort. Often deadlines are fixed, while requirements continue to grow.

Competent people strive in our environment. We are a small, dynamic and cannot afford toxic employees. Sadly, as you've rightfully pointed out, we do not take action quick enough to get them out as we believe that employees require time to develop. Positive work attitude and ownership is key factor we look for.
