Pros

Was a great local company with talented staff and inspiring mission in earlier days.

Cons

Dysfunctional leadership led to staff struggles and financial decline; the original rural Oregon founders sold to a Canadian investment firm in 2021. Company vibe shifted in 2019 to bro culture. Lack of diversity in leadership and staff in the company at that time, as a number of women and people of color left. Along with those changes, benefits were reduced and there was downward pressure on salaries. New CEO was there a few years — he led layoffs early in his tenure, and left recently, about a year after the company sold.
