Pros

Management is aware of the abysmal Glasdoor ratings: the new CEO himself asked the whole company in a town hall to come leave positive reviews. We may overtake FoxConn anytime soon.

Cons

Management solution for bad Glasdoor reviews is to blame disgruntled employees for them and ask the happy campers to come here and praise the new administration. Take all positive comments from Aug 27 onwards with a pinch of salt.

A Sinking Ship

Pros

Lazada must be considered a giant sinking ship. Leaders jump the e-commerce equivalent of the Titanic faster than you can open your eyes. So many executives from Alibaba (the parent company) have come and (a few months later) left again that you would probably need a kilometer long wall to put all their pictures up to admire the Great Wall of Business Failure. If you ever wanted to drown, this company is for you!

Cons

Tremendous leadership issues, tremendous privacy issues, incredibly negative corporate culture, abysmal internal communication, stifling micromanagement, mind-boggling lack of empathy from the so-called leadership, an all-pervading sense of unhappiness at the office. Even the Titanic had less problems (and, if you remember, most people in that movie died).

Pros

You get to brag about being part of the Alibaba ecosystem, relatively good pay, rathen frequent swag merch giveaways (just contributing to waste!)

Cons

Really bad management from top to bottom (mid management). The people get promoted not because of merit or that they're really competent, but because their predecessors got too sick of the situation in there and left, leaving a hole for these lackluster people to fill. Lots of title inflation, many “managers” and “VPs” don’t really deserve their titles, but are given it just because the company had to make them happy about staying on in the rotten core. Many of them will do whatever it takes to maintain their position because they got it good there, but deep down they know they didn't deserve it and can't perform in the job. Guilt can make people do funny things, including throwing their subordinates under the bus when things go wrong.
