Didn't get paid for my time working there.
The head of the company, Jeff Khan, was one of the worst bosses I'd ever worked for. He's very definitive about what he likes and doesn't like, which is great, but gives no details or explanation in how to achieve what he likes. Essentially, he'll say " I'll know it when I see it" -- I'm sorry, what? How is a new guy suppose to understand or develop with no clear direction?
My first assignment there was to create a detailed architectural design document and diagram for a client, but I wasn't allowed to interact with the client until I had the document completed. What sense does that make? How does one make a true design document without calling the client and getting some understanding of how their environment is setup?? Not only that, but when I submitted multiple drafts of what I could come up with, Mr. Khan would criticize and curse constantly, complaining that the work wasn't of an acceptable quality.
If you're ever looking to IT consulting, and come across this organization, believe me -- go anywhere else.
