Pros

You will learn alot because you will do alot of things outside your paygrade.

Cons

MGT think 'he' owns your life. No respect for personal time and too much sense of entitlement. Lack of culture where junior employees are not protected. A senior employee can be abusive especially the female ones and nothing will be done. Overbearing influence from senior management on other teams. Extremely poor people culture . Decentralized growth. Only the 'favored' once grow while others will wait till its time to move to another job then you suddenly realize the mgt are asking to 'match the offer' You can be a lead and a newly employed subordinate will negotiate a higher salary
