Pros

An innovation company in video collaboration world, with exciting solutions and product to deliver best-in-class video quality and experience, enabling people to collaborate better! Great relationships in the workplace among peers, and fantastic direct reporting manager, very helpful and supportive.

Cons

Particularly in my region, lack of business strategy and go-to market strategy from sales leadership, very traditional 'box selling' mindset, no emphasise on business value to customer and solving their business problems, lack of focus on customer experience and happiness. Confusing channel strategy.

Pros

- Perks: The company has great perks. Very generous PTO, great health insurance and good dental vision. - Work/Life Balance: Most people leave the office at a very normal hour and you aren't expected to work until 8/9 pm. - WFH: Depending on your boss, most people are allowed to WFH regularly which is a nice benefit (and good cause it helps you test out our product regularly) - People: Most of the people are good to work with. Some teams are more cohesive and collaborative than others though

Cons

- Management: The team is lost on what to do with the company. From lack of clear strategy to constant change in management, there is a lot of chaos and no direction - Competition: With companies like Zoom, BlueJeans, Google, Skype and Slack all moving into the space, there is no hope for the cloud/app side. The hardware seems to be the main focus now - Innovation: There is no innovation. Just constantly catching up to the competitors that are years ahead - Constant layoffs: The company has had multiple rounds of large-scale layoffs over the years and teams are constantly reshuffled. There is little stability in who you work with sometimes. - Mentorship: There is none at the company. If you are looking to learn and grow, don't go to Lifesize
