Pros

Pro’s I sat down for an entire eventide thinking of reasons why I joined this company and are there any pros of working here in a startup. Considering I have worked for 2 startups before I am kind of aware how startups operate and what can one assimilate here. But excited exhilarated people who want to join this company let me burst the bubble for you there are no PRO’S of working with LimeTray. You don’t get to learn anything except how to save your tired soul from the clients and your bosses. You learn how to give the best reasons to ask for chutti’s on eid and other holidays which the company completely disregards. They go to the extent of saying ‘Hum to independence day ke din bhi bula sakte hain’. What I learnt here was how to be in a company and hide so much hatred towards everybody around except a few fellow sufferers. I also learnt how to deal with the public humiliation you are exposed to everyday, sometimes personally by the CEO. He makes sure he comes to your desk and shout at you like, if he hired you he did some kind of favor to you. One of the pros could be the Monthly Mayhem party they hold sometimes which gives you free beer to get drunk on, but LimeTray does not believe in parties with FOOD. Yes yes yes its true a FnB startup which parties without food and only alcohol. So if you don’t drink, get drunk on the exasperation you have for your employer and enjoy. 2. Salary on time 3. You can play fifa in office. 4. You dont have to work on sundays.

Cons

Con’s Where do I set off? No seriously where should I start. I have a whole list of things to write in the cons sections. I hope glassdoor has the kind of word limit for it. 1. Starting from the interviews they are completely useless. People of any specialization judge any vertical. This was the first time I had seen somebody from tech take the sales interview. But that’s not all the salary is the worse part. They will never give you what they have promised. Never ever. The HR’s, once you plan to leave sometimes browbeat of not giving you the relieving letter/experience certificate to trouble an early reliever. 2. They hire desperate people who can work on any kind of amount offered to them. So I ll explain the funda LimeTray uses to hire people here. Suppose if they have to hire one talented person for a role assuming on 45k per month. They wont do it they believe in hiring 3 interns with no experience, background or sometimes even degrees for 15k per month. Wow what amazing logic. Hats off! That would be the kind of work you will get then. 3. The management is baseless, unorganized and ignorant. No employee perks, no engagement activates just keep working and slogging unless you die a cold death on your desk. Oh wait you don’t die a cold death here most people leave within 2-3 months of joining. Check other websites for proof. 4. Exploitaiton of employees the company does not care about the employees instead they believe in completely killing the zest to work with full vigor here. We have no SATURDAYS off and we work 10 hours a day. Yes 10 HOURS a day. Sometimes even more. They don’t have any overtime policies if in case you have to work beyond 10 hours a day but you will definitely get threat mails by our CEO’s. I am confident he wants to write swears but refrains. Yes he makes sure we are personally threatened if we leave 30 minutes prior to the authoritative timings. 5. Bad behavior of the high-raking people towards the rest of the employees. I have seen really senior people shouting on interns and sometimes even the house keeping staff etc. The CEO is extremely rude and thankless of the extra efforts people put to make his company shoot. Yes I said his company because in my stay here I never felt I belong here. I travel around so much to get clients on board and what I get in return is insults and demotivation and no reimbursements. Founders here work ruthlessly to exploit employees to their gain and employees pain. Our founders probably have never heard of ‘Leaders Eat Last’ ever. I highly recommend this book to him by Simon Sinek. 6. Work Timings and Days Limetray has working norms that are usually only seen in slave houses, those who leave at 7pm are asked are they leaving early today?. Again and again I see the founders gloating about the fact that they work beyond healthy boundaries. 60-hour weeks tend to be less of the exception and more of the rule here. The percentage of people who can work this way for very long is tiny. It's probably less than 1% here, people who can sleep eat, work, defecate, bathe and repeat in office. People brag about 80-hour work weeks, but few people can sustain it. It wrecks your health, after a while. Health is also surprisingly hard to get back. But most people here don’t comprehend it as such. I mean if you want to work-out, eat food or spend time with parents or wife you cant because by the time you reach home nothing is left. You can only get home get in bed and think of which company to apply for. We get that you are passionate about your startup but why why make people suffer and force them to participate in your koolkaid. Success does not happen overnight. Blaming everything on the startup industry norm is extremely objectionable. Stop making unrealistic timeline promises to get fash cash, to clients and other stakeholders. Does Limetray bear a resemblance to slave galleys that are working towards a meagre profit? I am saying yes. Please think before joining this company and then don’t join. And for the founders I just want to say that BAD PEOPLE DON’T MAKE BIG COMPANIES; THEY MAKE BAD IMPACTS.

Pros

Are there any ? Can't think of any expect meeting a few good people who have left already.

Cons

If you want to make your resume funny, LimeTray is the place for you. 1. Amazing emphasis on AMAZING work timings, what is work life balance ? 2. Senior Management is just there to mock employees, because they have done a favour to you by hiring you , always remember that 3. No respect or appreciation for work. Everything is taken for granted , you owe them big time , always keep that also in mind 4. How the finance team works here is a harder mystery to solve than the Bermuda Triangle, where the head basically comes to office to hide from his wife and once in a blue moon replies to your queries strictly based on the threat you have to resort to. 5. They will make your life hell if you plan on leaving, so please ensure you keep it a secret and only leave when your salary comes. Like disappear post that. I doubt the experience letter will hold any value at any other company. 6. Such a positive work environment, that you might get murderous thoughts once in a while. 7. Company lies to not only employees but the clients as well by building products that do not have a correct sense of direction or even people to support it. Sell and then get abused by the clients is their mantra. 8. What are holidays ? Its a taboo word , you get NO , absolutely no time to do anything else. Just because the founder sleeps in the office everyday, he expects every one to support that cause and build up on the unhygienic aura that surrounds each floor.

Pros

Well, this is too hard to think. Probably the hardest thing to answer in my entire life. Well still I would say that you do not get to reach home before 10 pm. :-) You get free booze every month.

Cons

This list is endless: 1. People are selling stallion barware during their meetings and do not sell what limetray sells 2. There are people in higher management who are building their own company/startup using limetray as the base line 3. Work timings are 9 am - 9 pm, if you leave office before that you are fired. 4. The work culture is enromously pathetic and is just one more lala company on the list 5. Not even break even cost, huge losses. No funding is going to be there so they are doomed. 6. ABuses time after time , seconds after seconds. Analysts are heading City sales (FUnniest thing) 7. Instead of hiring a guy for 45k, they hire freshers for 15k , 3 each. 8 No appreciation of work 9. People show fake meetings to run their own unbreakable glass businesses 10. Guards at gates to note down the names of defaulters 11. Paid ketchup and sugar in kitchen 12. Beautiful girls get hired easily. Not a safe company for young girls. 13. Flirty senior management
