the job is good, it’s the management and employees that make it hell.
Pros
the only pro was seeing the little girls faces light up after you did a service for them.
Cons
the concept is cute, the management is terrible. they do not listen to complaints and show immense favoritism to employees that have worked for a long time there. very stingy with hours, sketchy and unprofessional scheduling and form of payroll. they racially profile you if you are of certain ethnicity, and they will give you clients of your ethnicity. you are subject to being degraded, disrespected, discriminated, insulted, and expected to “deal with it” as management has told me. you absolutely do not get paid enough for the amount of work you put in. it is a very tip heavy job and they even take a percentage of your tip. high turnover rate. essentially the job is full of immature young female high schoolers/high school graduates that disrupt the peaceful childcare and wondrous environment that this job is supposed to convey.
