To IC, no matter what team, the company culture is defined by a rigid, top-down hierarchy and a high level of bureaucracy. Much of the leadership team brings a legacy mindset from Alibaba, which manifests in a highly territorial environment and a lack of cross-departmental collaboration. Internal 'turf wars' often take precedence over innovation, resulting in a culture of compliance rather than candid feedback. Consequently, the product feels fragmented and lacks the user-centric vision needed to succeed. If you’re senior and seeking to advance to your career, then it’s a bad place. Because they don’t care about your voice and idea at all. This apply to all offices they have!

Extremely Chinese working culture: top down, bureaucratic, extremely territorial and full of teams engaging in turf ways, and full of yes men. (Most staff and people in management are formerly from Alibaba.) Broken product that isn’t built with any heart.
