Disappointing

Pros

Decent corporate health insurance and decent amount of annual leave

Cons

1.Management will overpromise and paint a beautiful picture of how there isn't enough brokers to cover clients and there will be fair client distribution. BUT, when you join you will then be asked to find your own clients. They hold on to their clients like hounds, even when clearly they cant cover all of them well and the clients clearly needs to be redistributed to other people on the desk. 2.Some desks are severely understaffed and they make newcomers do 2-3 times their workload, some people are doing 11-12 hours shift and are force to lunch in. You are hired for one thing but end up doing 2 or 3 diff roles with no added compensation. 3.HR is situated in London, there is no HR in Singapore and this does not help at all. Hr is severely out of touched with Singapore working environment. 4.it is a toxic environment to work in. Alot of disrespect shown to the operations/IT here. Sentences like, this trader likes asian young women, this guy likes Caucasian women, So and so should cover him. Is quite disturbing to hear. 5. Extremely high turnover rate. In merely five months, it has already hit double digits in the Sg office.

Pros

Competitive insurance benefits and 21 days of annual leave

Cons

Good firm to work for if you are revenue generator. Not ideal if you doing a support function role. Poor salary increment and medicore bonus. Firm culture is quite resistant to change and APAC has no empowerment to do stuffs,

Thank you for your comments. As a growing global company, our culture is developing all the time, and many of our colleagues feel empowered to help drive the change. In Singapore in particular, our employee engagement scores have increased year-on-year. We want to make sure all our colleagues around the world feel supported and recognised in the role they perform, and we pay competitively according to experience and market rates.
