    Pros

Some nice fellow colleagues and decent benefits

    Cons

    - A fair amount of politics and toxicity - Poor management (Frankly speaking, I don't even consider them leaders, given their lack of vision and integrity) - Lack of recognition despite all the hard work, energy and time poured into the projects (Think working OT until midnight and even overnight) - Bad project planning

I worked at Marshall Cavendish Int full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Some people are nice and are trying their best to do their jobs well. Pay is alright. Work life balance can be decent.

    Cons

Too much politics. Company is not doing well and instead of coming together, people start blaming each other. Finger-pointing is done by the management, which then encourages the behavior all the way down. So many people leaving the company because the politics is too much. So many ex-colleagues whose mental health was affected because of the toxicity and who are doing so much better after leaving. If you're looking for a good company with positive staff who are good at what they do and don't need to compensate with toxicity, this is NOT the company for you.

"Same as others reviews-hardworking get more work less hardworking get easy less work"

    1.0
    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Marshall Cavendish Int full-time

    Pros

Staff benefits like medical and leave etc that apply to all are good. Staff canteen and many buses. Generally caring HR and stable organisation.

    Cons

Exactly like other reviews here put across. When it comes to work, I am very perplex and shock how such a big reputable organisation can have senior manager that reward less hardworking whether it's junior or senior level people who still get good appraisal with easy less work and then throw the years of backlog not resolved and leave behind the respective responsibilities, to the more hardworking whose performance expectation get jack up constantly due to this. This is very unfair when almost same hierarchy or almost same title but having to constantly resolve new sudden responsibilities with no increase pay and no recognition. Some other team get more people. Dont give resources but when someone say to the manager I don't know or I need help, then conveniently pass to the hardworking by ordering "do for them" or "go and google yourself how to write".
