Pros
Engaging workplace with a lot of creativity flowing through it. Lots of opportunities to learn and teach with the excellent video, audio, and editing equipment. State of the art facilities, with many opportunities to spend solo time with for self education.
Cons
Serious problems with workplace culture and personal politics. I watched myself and several others get shunned by the people at the top during internal and external interviews for job openings just because they didn’t like the person, despite their ability or skillset. Pay stayed pretty stagnant too. Prior to the pandemic, most would’ve looked at a job here and thought the hourly rates were generous, but we are far beyond that point now and when I left it was because the money wasn’t there.
