Because Mile High Protection Services is a small company, employees have direct and frequent contact with the owner, Cheif Timothy Moore. He is accessible and willing to listen to his employees. He is open to new ideas, he encourages team work, he is driven and motivated to grow his business and frequently solicites feedback from the employees and willing to try new and innovative ideas to better the company. Shifts and hours are flexible. MHPS offers training and helps officers obtain their license and certifications. I spent 25 years in a corporate environment and I couldn't be happier working for a small business. I am exposed to more challenging business scenarios and I know my input is valued and my ideas are supported!
Cons
As a small business, MHPS cannot compete with corporate pay rates and benefit packages. If you are one who has a difficult time with change or dealing with ambiguity, this would be an environment that you may struggle in. It is a work I progress, establishing sustainable systems and processes, but making progress every day!
