      Pros

      I'll let you know when i figure it out.

      Cons

      They dont value their workers, be prepared to work for free at certain times just to be able to keep your job. They will let you go for no reason and hire brand new people for lower pay. Account managers screw technicians over just to keep clients happy and place blame on technicians to save their skin, they don't know anything about computers. So talking to them about whats going on is like talking to a wall. No chance at all for advancement.

      Mytek has many advancement opportunities for qualified individuals that live Mytek's values. In fact, Mytek promotes from within more than 75% of the time. As the result of several acquisitions completed last year, Mytek has performed some right sizing and restructuring efforts in Q1 of this year. The definition of turnover is the rate at which employees leave a workforce and are replaced. This does not apply in Mytek's case, as we have had a few low producers and non essential workforce that was eliminated. As a result, Mytek is stronger and able to actually do more with less. Which is good for our employees as well as our customers.

      Pros

      When I started with the company there were a lot of Pros. Initially the company (as well as management) seemed to care about employees. Employee satisfaction & happiness was important. Company outings were fun, work was steady, employees did their jobs well and clients were satisfied.

      Cons

      Once management changed it turned into a dog eat dog job. The company & upper management turned against employees. Incentives were taken away, constructive criticism & annual reviews with raises (when appropriate) became a thing of the past . Promises of advancement within the company never came to fruition and the core values they "prided" themselves on completely disappeared.

      Lack of Ownership/Management business experience and professionalism

      Pros

      Education on what not to do in business, IT , and Life in General. Great hands on experience with how to handle adversity, customer complaints, and to realize that common sense isn't so common.

      Cons

      Ownership, Management, lack of standard operating procedures, Lack of Morals, ethics, and focus on customer service and satisfaction. No opportunity for advancement or growth. No Constructive solutions to internal issues, they are an HR nightmare.

      Thank you for the post. As the result of several acquisitions completed last year, Mytek has performed some right sizing and restructuring efforts in Q1 of this year. We have eliminated a few low producers and non essential workforce in this effort. The comment above originates from one of the individuals that did not make the cut in moving forward and he or she has decided to exercise their right to voice their opinion which I wholeheartedly respect.
