The company is circling the drain and they are VERY resistant to change. Orders are delegated down from the parent company and upper management (sales and CEO). Moral is low and results are lower. They put up a facade of growth and evolution, but there is no real progress. Just less people and more waste of resources. It is clearly evident to those who do understand business that those leading the charge do not. It's all political and you will see that very quickly. The success of the company is sacrificed for the personal gain of those who control it. I hope for the sake of those or do work hard and want to make an impact that upper management is replaced.
If you are desperate for a job, go for it, but know that it will not be long term unless you don't care and just want to punch a clock and take orders. If you are not desperate, do not take a step back in your career to sink alongside the others.
If you're in sales, there is nothing you can do to impact your results. 95% of your results are based on your territory and the decisions of the company. You will not be supported or provided with adequate resources to improve your position.
If you're anywhere else, there is no hope for promotion. Your role is predefined and restricted to very repetitive operations to facilitate the rest.
If you're an instructor - ride that train for as long as you want, but don't quit networking - at any moment you could be eradicated.
