Pros

They stand out when it comes to prioritizing employee safety. It’s clear from day one that safety is taken seriously. Benefits are solid, and management consistently supports our growth through training and workshops. I feel recognized and appreciated, which goes a long way in keeping me motivated.

Cons

More frequent company-wide updates would be helpful.

Pros

The company offers exciting projects, particularly in environmental and engineering services, that really allow you to grow and build meaningful skills. The management genuinely cares about employee well-being, and coworkers are always ready to lend a hand when needed. Compensation and benefits are also fair and competitive, and I’ve felt valued and recognized for my contributions.

Cons

Occasional long hours during project deadlines.

Pros

The company is mission-driven, and it shows in every project. I love that we work toward environmental and health-focused goals. Benefits are comprehensive, and flexible scheduling is an option, which has been a lifesaver. There’s plenty of training available, and I’m challenged every day in the best way.

Cons

Deadlines can get tight, but it’s all part of the work.

Pros

I enjoy the emphasis that is put on a work life balance. I think there is a decent amount of positivity and management does a good job. It is easy to work with the company and everyone is very helpful. I enjoy the general culture of the company and find it to be a generally positive place to work.

Cons

I believe that benefits need to be improved. There should be separate sick leave as many people have minimal PTO and come in sick. PTO in general also needs to be improved. It is very minimal and it takes too long to accumulate more. Pay raises have also been minimal. There is little recognition of career advancements in terms of pay raises. It will continue to be difficult to keep staff.

Pros

The company has been fantastic for my career. I started in an entry-level position, but with training and encouragement, I’ve been able to take on more responsibility. They go above and beyond with safety and health standards, which is reassuring. The team is supportive, and the benefits are competitive.

Cons

Can get tough on buddy days, but they are manageable anyway.

Pros

Great projects with good front line managers. Employees can feel good about the work they do and how they contribute. Working towards the good of the country we can feel good about the part we play.

Cons

Employee relations! I feel as if I am only cared about as what work I do and nothing beyond that. I do get not stepping into personal lives but you have to care about the employee as a whole. Life is hard and when you have employees that show up despite that hard life be there for them as they are still showing up and working hard because they take pride in their job. It is hard to do when that is never appreciated or even acknowledged. Employees want to mean somethig to Navarro and it be more than a paycheck. Sometimes a simple I see your effort and thank you or I am thinking about you during this diffucult time can mean everything to a person. Promote from within. Many times when a rare position becomes available external candidates are hired when there are resources internally that can be an excellent option. There is no room for growth within current roles. Moving to a senior or leadership position in the same role would be a great option to keep employees from looking elsewhere for career growth. There appears to be no career growth and the cost of benefits and living continue to rise without salaries changing at the same pace. The impact of that is far greater to those outside of the C Suite. Acknoweldge employees who go above and beyond to do more than their current role. Other duties as assigned should not be the norm so for those of us who do that constantly make an effort to reward that someway.

Pros

I like having one principal client at RMA, as opposed to 10 DOD installations. We have excellent personnel in all positions. But folks will retire. I have been able to work remotely occasionally. This has been very helpful.

Cons

I think it would be great if Navarro could research providing medical benefits at 32 hours. Or 35 hours. I also think that Navarro could research how to gift leave to those who fall ill or how to let employees buy an extra week of leave. Two weeks of leave for 5 years is not enough. It may be standard, but if you need a differentiator . . maybe more could help.

Pros

The projects here are challenging but worth it. My team is dedicated, and management is very supportive, making it a good environment to grow. Benefits are strong, and there are real opportunities for progression if you’re motivated. I feel like my hard work is noticed, which makes it all worthwhile.

Cons

Some projects have tight timelines, which can be intense.
