Pros
1. The Founder/CMD is very generous, goal oriented , forward thinking, innovative. He is patient and enthusiastic to take the company forward despite of the defects in operations and mid-level management. 2. CMD policy is more socialistic and he considers workers as an integral part of system by calling them associates. Associates too respect him him for his kindness and benignity. 3. The factory/plant HR team strives its best to engender amity among employees, staff and associates. 4. HR tries to introduce transparency by introducing new welfare policies such as "Whistle Blower".
Cons
1. Large company yet not available to general public for ownership of shares or equities. Not sufficient members in board of governance. Risk in sustenance because of inappropriate business strategy and its implementation. 1. Mid-level management is indifferent towards business development and sly to evade the problems that may hinder growth of business in long term. 2. Disregard to training especially for new recruits. Linguistic (Marathi) hegenomy even in the levels of mid-senior and top business development heads. 3. Carelessness in talent acquisition and inadequate salary packages . 4. Egoism and politics among the mid-level managers make it difficult to retain skilled and efficient talented employees. It also impedes in free flow of innovative ideas. (I was derided by my entire team on the day of so-called "farewell" for showing dissent with managers and exercising my volition of resignation. ) Politics also causes improper implementation of welfare policies like Whistle blower. 5. Slighting attitude by Head Office towards Factory employees and staff.
