No career progression (you are personal trainer/fitness instructor OR you are the Health and fitness manager), No penalty rates (public holiday). No upskilling. Poor management and lack of support from department heads. HIGH staff turnover, Sink or swim format in employee onboarding. No compensation or incentive to meeting KPIs. No culture within the department (1 staffmember on shift per department). Managers always in office and will not approach the gym floor unless there is an emergency.
