Pros

Not much - some free snacks

Cons

1) CEO has anger management issue. It was common to hear him yelling and berating employees in office or someone on the phone. 2) Company missed several payrolls in this year. CEO talked about raising huge money from VC for the past few years but nothing ever came through. 3) Many were laid off in the past couple months 4) Company offers low salary 5) Startup going nowhere for the past 12 years.

Pros

Nothing to mention as a pro

Cons

Avoid joining Singapore team. They recruit freshers only for 3 million funding from government. Downsized few employees recently. No reason given. No severance package paid.

Run away from this company

Pros

Great people to work with.

Cons

Bad management, bad HR, bad policies, sinking company trying its best to survive dwindling sales. If you have other options to go to aside from Nextlabs, choose that. You may end up without a job or your career will never advance. There's not much opportunity to learn something you can use in the real world. Get your training elsewhere. Forget about the perks too. flexi time, food, regular events, monthly lunch... There's none of it anymore as the company is in financial trouble. Even management people are leaving the company for better jobs outside. With the financial trouble they are in, they are even trying to sell things to clients that are not possible. To those looking at a career at Nextlabs, this is a 13 year old startup and they haven't flown so run away and find better ones out there and there are a lot. Don't waste your life here being micromanaged and getting told you're incompetent. And just so you know, when I started tracking, the rating was 2.5 stars but has since gone up to 3 stars now. Don't be fooled. Read the other reviews here and you'll know why there's an false increase in rating.
