Pros

They respond quickly and it’s easy to get an interview.

Cons

Very disrespectful communication with supervisors, and the way they talk about clients is no better. Even during the job interview, their head manager or regional manager said things like: “You have to be able to tell at first glance whether a client is rich or poor and push the product on them. If you’re not obsessed with money, there’s nothing for you to do here. I don’t even know who found you and invited you to the interview, or if you found us yourself…” The way they talk to you and the way they describe clients creates the strong impression that the company doesn’t care about its employees at all — they are seen as nothing more than dumb staff whose only purpose is to increase the company’s profit. Clients are also viewed simply as bags of money. The main goal is just to make as much money as possible not to help people.

Pros

Pay is okayish but far below the competition.

Cons

No job security. They will fire you if you miss your targets 2 months straight. No one should have to worry about their job every day its not good for your mental health. Managers are expected to work every weekend- because of this they will lose most of their long tenured managers and its already starting to happen as people are finding better companies to go work for. Its zero work life balance.

Pros

As a district manager, we have the freedom to go to the stores and spend time with employees the way that we feel that is needed run the business with guidance of precision policies instead of everything falling to micromanage.

Cons

Reporting is behind at times however we just had a meeting and reporting is changing what we’re gonna get more of an accuracy of life reporting and being more consistent with it for KPI sales.

Pros

Easy job application, in an world where "no answer" job listings and automated ATS rejections are an all-time high Commission that allows you to earn an extra $400-800 for top-performing Mobile Experts. Check out as many cables, cases, and chargers, they add up! Isn't really physically demanding for a $14-15 dollar job. 50% discount on AT&T, Verizon, and a lifetime 20% discount on T-Mobile with Experience More/Beyond plans.

Cons

Very luck-based. This job is more luck-based than skill based. Therefore, it easily ends up to where most locations that have the best sales are ones that have the highest demand for phones. In my district, one location barely gets any sales because of nobody wanting to work there and lack of demand. Customers will get denied very frequently, especially with the "Call Wireless Order Support" denial which is on the carrier's end, and the red "Sorry..." denial, the latter where Walmart declines it for potential "fraud" and the T-Mobile denial stating "customer not approved for carrier installment plan". District Managers encourage Mobile Experts to lie about the first bill to flip prepaid to postpaid. I strongly recommend T-Mobile as it doesn't have the activation fee for Android phones. Verizon also has the highest price which makes them not recommended for lower-end Android phones but better for iPhones, considering it'd always be more expensive to go with Straight Talk upfront than postpaid.

Pros

I started with OSL in an entry-level mobile sales role, and over the past four and a half years, I’ve worked my way up to District Manager. Throughout that journey, OSL has consistently invested in my development—not just as a salesperson, but as a leader. Programs like LEAD have played a huge role in helping me grow and refine my skills. It’s the first company I’ve worked for where what you put into it truly matches what you get out of it

Cons

Honestly I could say one bad thing about this company.

Pros

OSL offers strong exposure to large partners and national programs. There are opportunities to grow quickly, take ownership of projects, and gain hands-on leadership experience. The environment is fast-paced and results-driven, which can be motivating for people who enjoy building programs, leading teams, and solving operational challenges. Senior leaders are generally accessible, and the company is open to new ideas when supported by data and execution. Great place to develop management and stakeholder-facing skills.

Cons

The pace can be demanding, and priorities can shift quickly based on client needs. Workload can be heavy at times, especially when managing multiple programs or regions. Processes and tools are still evolving, which can create inefficiencies and require managers to problem-solve without perfect systems in place. Work-life balance can vary depending on the program and time of year.
