Pros

The people I met....who have also left.

Cons

This place is like working in a cult. They preach about being open, honest, transparent but if you have an opinion that doesn't fit into their weird 'OSV Culture' then forget it. They employ people who they hope they can groom in to their way of thinking. The 'management' are so institutionalised they have no idea what the real working world is like. If you value your sanity, AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Our Culture:- Core Value Statements & Guiding Principles. Transparency- Information and experiences, successes and failures, good news and bad news - we share openly. It makes us all stronger and helps us learn faster. Learning and growing- There is no end to knowledge. We want more, and we chase it. We are part of a learning culture where knowledge and skills are shared freely. Our focus is always on finding innovative solutions. We all have a voice in OSV and accept personal responsibility for learning first before suggesting/implementing business change and improvement. We see all learning as an opportunity to grow. Teamwork- We recognise the skills of others and we collaborate freely. We understand that no-one is smarter than everyone. We recognise that our true potential can only be realised through cooperation and collaboration. We understand that our customers experience will flourish as a result. Trust-We make time for each other and keep our commitments to each other as a priority. We trust each other to deliver our accountabilities and responsibilities. We can count on each other. Communication -We communicate clearly, openly, respectfully and appropriately. We are professional and 'Adult' in our communication with each other and our customers. We recognise our customers and each other's value. We embrace difficult conversations as a path to continual improvement, greater clarity, and the discovery of meaningful solutions. Equal Worth -We are equals. Equity provides the foundation for our combined efforts and strengths. Strengths -We celebrate each other strengths and support each other in maximising our combined potential. Appreciative -We appreciate our customers, suppliers, each other, and the company as a whole. We strive to continually express our appreciation in each other through gratitude, respect and honesty. Presence -We show up every day and are fully present for our colleagues and customers. Human - We are people. We are complex. We show empathy and compassion for each other and our customers. Our challenges are resolved through a mutual desire to learn and find solutions. We have been trading for 22 years with a proven sales process that works. We encourage people to follow our sales process - however, as the saying goes "you can take a horse to water, but you can't make it drink". OSV is not for everyone and that's fine, we appreciate that, but for those who embrace the process and want to learn and improve, will earn a lot of money. We wish you well in your search for suitable employment.

Pros

- OSV is like a little family, everyone works together and pitches in to get the job done - Everyone is approachable and the atmosphere is great - You are supported in everything that you do - The culture really sets the tone for the office - Working with a great team makes each day enjoyable - Great opportunities within your career path if you dedicated to what you do

Cons

If you like to keep yourself to yourself and not get involved then OSV probably isn't for you. The team like to have a laugh and make each day enjoyable so if you are too serious you probably won't enjoy the atmosphere.
