Pros

- You'll get really good at writing/recognizing fictional story-writing (hint hint: all the 5 star glassdoor reviews) - If you're one of the early employees, you're pretty much untouchable. You'll find that out quickly - You'll see the quote below in action EVERY. SINGLE.DAY with some select people “What happens if we invest in developing our people and they leave?” “What happens if we don’t and they stay?”

Cons

- Culture is truly top-down here meaning it's horrible - The only real innovation here is the fact that we even exist period - Soul crushing "rah-rah" meetings where you can palpably feel the eye rolls - Scattered priorities, no clear mission (outside of make as much money as possible and sales doing rather unethical things to be frank) - Unfit people in leadership - Rampant "boys club" mentality (be ready to kiss the ring if you want to get anywhere in this company) - Deceitful, veiled messaging and promises (personally was promised numerous things during recruitment - shame on me for not getting it in writing)

Thanks for taking the time to share this feedback with us. Employee satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us and we take this type of feedback very seriously. We encourage you to set up time with the HR team to learn more about what specifically is creating a negative experience for you and determine next steps. We are focused on communication and creating an honest and transparent environment. We recently launched and shared the results of two internal surveys: Employee Engagement and Transparency & Communication. From these, we've identified, executed, and are in progress of executing several additional programmatic action items to improve AuditBoard to be a great place to work on a continuous basis through learning, communication, actioning and constant listening / collection of feedback. We look forward to continuing to improve.

Pros

- Competitive product for its space - Great people (for the most part) - Unique opportunity if you're willing to hustle - Due to its size, opportunity to have more of an impact than at a large company

Cons

I see a lot of fake reviews (mostly positive reviews) and a lot of bitter reviews (overly negative) so will attempt to be as objective as possible here.... - This place will NEVER be the next Google/Facebook/etc. and that’s not their goal - so temper your expectations accordingly. In fact, this place has more of a corporate vibe than a tech start up vibe. - I'd honesty say it's not the greatest place but you could have it worse. If you put AuditBoard with 9 other similar companies, I would say most of the time it would rank #4 of 10 (hence the 2 star review) - All companies exaggerate the positives of the job and role during the interview process but I would say AuditBoard is far more egregious than most so take everything they say with a HUGE grain of salt. - The benefits are honestly as bad as the other reviews state. Would avoid this place if that’s something that is very important to you - By the way the company is run, they are trying to run a very lean operation. The benefits are trash, the office is drab… and who puts a startup in Cerritos of all places? If you want a workplace that you want to brag about, this isn't the place... - Every department has its own quirks/positives/negatives like any other company. Some more than others and you can probably figure out which ones they are by reading the negative reviews. - honestly don’t think any of the positive reviews are real / unbiased. We’ve been “encouraged” to post positive reviews so that should tell you something. Interpret this as you will. - There has been some churn in the past couple of months so something to keep in mind

Pros

not many :( My coworkers were vey sweet though

Cons

As a former Product Designer, I can confidently say that there are many cons to working there. First and foremost, the pay is extremely low and not at all competitive with other companies in the industry. Additionally, the management doesn't take employee concerns seriously, making it difficult to get anything accomplished. Moreover, there's a culture of nepotism at AuditBoard that makes it difficult for talented employees to advance in their careers. The management team favors their friends and family members, even if they are not qualified for the job. It's truly unfair and demotivating to see. To make matters worse, there have been numerous allegations of discrimination against women of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community. The management team has been accused of ignoring these issues and not taking appropriate action to address them. It's a toxic work environment that's not conducive to creativity, collaboration, or innovation.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I appreciate hearing about your personal experience and would like to address your concerns. First, in response to your mention of discrimination allegations, this is concerning because we strive to build a safe, inclusive workplace that values employees from different backgrounds. I've been at AuditBoard for a year, and during my tenure I'm not aware of any allegations of discrimination. We take these allegations very seriously and encourage both past and present AuditBoarders who have experienced, witnessed, or heard about discrimination to reach out to me directly so that I can take the appropriate action. In response to your concern around preferential treatment, we do encourage qualified referrals and we've found them to be a strong and consistent hiring source. As part of this program, we encourage employees to refer people from their networks that they would vouch for, and whom they believe would be a good fit for our open roles at AuditBoard. However, we use structured hiring practices and cross-functional interview panels to ensure that every candidate is evaluated fairly and consistently across all jobs and teams. Finally, I'm sorry you feel that AuditBoard's pay isn't competitive. We've made significant investments in our employee rewards (pay and benefits) over the last year, including during our 2022 focal review process. We regularly review employee compensation and recently brought in an outside consulting team to help assess market trends ensuring fair and equitable pay. We offer robust health and wellbeing benefits and the opportunity for employees to share in AuditBoard's success and growth through our equity program. If you have any additional feedback you would like to share, or if you would like to report a claim, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. -Courtney Ellis, SVP of People
