Pros

You get paid a livable wage. Benefits say premium but are average. They luck out with this company because semiconductor is in high demand due to Taiwan being “not invaded”

Cons

Safety- It’s BAD. From people almost being killed because of the process to back injury’s there is no shortage. 20 kilo boxes on the floor that you have to pick up. Real smart company. Pay - Not enough for what you’re doing (sometimes literally working 2 jobs simultaneously) but just enough to keep you here Training- This has to be the worst training Id ever received from a company. You would be trained on equipment (all custom to some extent mind you) with extremely unclear/un updated work instructions. Sometimes the work instructions are just wrong. Brought that up months ago and it was fixed a week ago give or take. People- Everyone will tell you that they love their jobs here (at least that’s what management hears) but nobody is happy. The general consensus is “here for the check”for 99% of people I’ve met and talked to. Not to mention certain people in this place are power hungry and looking to expand their careers by cutting your throat. Don’t trust anyone. Management- Expectations are pretty much to the roof for us. If something bad happens and we have to call an engineer or management for help we usually wake them up since there’s no facilities at night. Many times I’ve been disrespected because I had to call someone on their day off. We wanted to be 24 hours, but not everyone is 24 hours if you understand. Not to mention they will stalk you on the cameras to make sure you’re slaving away and if you aren’t deemed “hardworking” enough (even if there’s nothing to do) expect a fresh email the next day.

Pros

Starting pay and they're willing to reimburse you for some PPE.

Cons

It's a start-up company and they love to keep throwing that term around. It's not an excuse for some basic things though. No breakroom, so the unpaid 30-minute break options are your car, going off property, or finding an empty conference room. They've hired managers who have been there a month or less when those positions should have been filled ages ago. So you have people who are supposed to just be grunts, taking on work that should be done by superiors.

Thank you for the feedback. We totally agree that a breakroom is important, and I am pleased we are now able to offer that space to all employees to enjoy! We are always looking for suggestions and welcome further feedback that would make the employee experience stronger.
