Pros

Great colleagues and you get to knock off on time. & sadly, yes there is only 2 pros but 2 is better than 1 right.

Cons

There's too many so brace yourself. - You've to check in and check out with your face when you come work, go lunch, back from lunch and off work. This "culture" wasn't mention during interview. they probably think it's okay but truth is, none of us find it okay. - You cannot be late for more than 30 mins in totality per month. If you break it down, say 4 weeks a month with 5 working days, you can only afford to be late for 1.5 mins. (LOL feels funny as i type) - Daily timesheet that you won't about it until you're here on your first day. Basically note down every single task you've done for the day and state the time taken individually. I almost thought i was working from home cus it only sound reasonable to do this if you're not in office (but srsly even WFH people also won't do that lol) - HQ will tell you they're open to suggestion but whenever you do, they will tell you HOW they do it instead. Basically low key telling you to just follow. - They don't understand how each country works differently so when you advise them, they insist in doing this HK way. (sometimes it makes me wonder who is the local here) - They will promise you that you will get to learn A, B, C with guidance but NO. If you're lucky enough, you get to learn at least A but self learn. :> - If at this point you're wondering where is the benefits, it is indeed nowhere cus it doesn't even exist. But in some other countries, there is actually some benefits. Yeah, not sure why is there a difference in treatment. :< - Next if you are wondering if all the reviews are true, bad ones yes and good ones are probably seeded (lol) - Lastly, everybody mentioned about CCTVs but none of them actually said how many are there. It's literally at EVERY CORNERS. Anywhere your eyes land on, you will for sure see one.

Pros

Great colleagues, knock off on time and there is no OT require

Cons

Tons to be mentioned, if you are thinking about joining this organization, be prepare that you will need to face an unreasonable and kind of ridiculous outdated treatment as if you are still living back in the 80s. Bear with me guys, if you wish to read further, it will be kind of lengthy, but I hope these information helps you to think twice on whether you want to continue the career path with them. - CCTVs is eye-powering you 24hrs on every single movement you are doing, other than washroom and treatment room. (Sound creepy, but this is what happening here.) - There is no Singapore's employee insurance coverage since last year June (New footprint in Singapore) whatever accident happen to you in the company, you own-self bare okay, company will not be bother, cause there is no workplace coverage for you. Can you imagine SG HR have been trying their best to help us opt for all the fundamental employee welfare benefits along MOM guideline since last year till to date? It's been a year, the only benefit that we have is only Annual Leave, Child Care Leave and Maternity Leave. There is no medical reimbursement be it you are confirmed or not confirmed staff (thought this is compulsory on MOM website?) Oh! By the way, I pity our SG HR, as they have no authority to make any decision, when things happen, HQ HR will ask us to bypass SG HR, indirectly telling us that SG HR is useless, whereas HQ HR is the one who are making the decision, SG just follow through. (Wondering who is the local here, and if you want to open a business in that particular country, shouldn't it be following what the country rules and regulation rather violating them?) - Understand compassionate leave is mandate compulsory, it's up to the company to enforce such rule. Can you imagine you are already in sorrow, yet you have to get an unpaid leave (if you used up your AL), and there is no compassionate leave to use it? (you guys will say, why not don't use up the AL to prevent this to happen, but all majority of the companies in Singapore are doing this practices) Why are they so caring for their employee, whereas here is so employment discrimination. - not flexible for everything!!! Late for work (understandable) Lunch at Orchard you know how crowded it is? While waiting for available seats, ordering and swallow the food down and be back exact 1hr is crazy (If we get stomachache how? Don't worry, company is so indirectly caring for us, not well go see doctor, remember no reimbursement!) Going in and out of the shop door have to write down the reasoning on a list like where are you going during office hour, why you require to head out. I do understand this company is caring for our whereabout, but isn't this too micromanage? Basically there's no trust on us, just because of 1 bad apple, the entire employees have to suffer!

Pros

Nice co-workers No OT Good pay (probably because they will not be able to hire if not for the attractive pay) Manageable workload

Cons

The CEO is the worst - micromanager, throw temper tantrums and call staff horrid names, gives rubbish instructions that can change on a daily basis, literally stalks people with the office CCTV. Will fire people immediately and threaten to sue staff. Refuses to allow employees to WFH during Covid even though it is against the law. No welfare, HR practices all over the place. Will change terms in your contract/prior instructions at anytime. If you are joining this place, make sure that all your terms are written in black and white in your contract else HR will not acknowledge anything else they promise during interview. (Although I would assume that HR is only doing this due to the CEO)
