      Unstable management, hostile workplace and high turnover

      Extremely high employee turn over, I have seen many amazing engineers leave due to workplace environment. Technical management may be bipolar and can be mean to employees. A very hostile work place with intense internal politics which is encouraged by management. Management will often make promises and not keep them. Salary is very low. There is no opportunity for career development and is discouraged by management. Located on the south-side of San Antonio which has very low-quality of living.

      Pros

      Working from home was the only pro.

      Cons

      Toxic management that plays favorites and will make up a fake story to let you go. Then require you to sign a document to not say anything bad about them. Glad i didn't sign anything. Management doesn't care about the guys at the bottom. Leads like to throw you under the bus to make them look good. There is no career advancement.

      Pros

      - You get to work with robots! - Great management practices from the supervisors and the executives. - Plenty of opportunities and support for learning and skill development. - Flexibility with hours and time off. - Plenty of opportunities to travel (a huge pro if you love traveling). - Lots of company outings and events that allow you to connect with your coworkers.

      Cons

      - Typical growing pains of a startup: many things lack a "standard", and are currently pending documentation. - Not many employees so it's likely you won't have a backup for something you know how to do.
