Pros

I would say none, besides being able to be the first one to touch the latest and greatest electronic gear.

Cons

This company is nothing like working for corporate AT&T, this company is ran by two brothers and a few other guys they call "backoffice". If you ever need help you wont get it.. No one extends their hand out to assist you in anything. The work schedules are terrible. I was lied to on the first day and told my salary would be "x" and it turned out to be "x" alot lower.. I financially needed the job at the time so I had to take whatever I could get. This company has fraud "promotions" used to obtain new client tell.. I felt bad every single night leaving work knowing that I had lied to a customer. I would not recommend this company as an employer to anyone!

Pros

Absolutely none. Maybe the 57% discount on your phone bill, but I’d rather pay the extra $100 a month.

Cons

Where do I start.... If you’re looking to work here, I strongly suggest you read at least the first few sentences. You won’t make $40k as they advertise. Maybe $30k if you’re lucky and in a busy store. I’ve worked here for about a year, but for AT&T as a whole for 4 years. Someone who just started here 7 months ago is being paid $.50 more than I am and we have the same sales numbers every month. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot, but it’s the principal. Something this company doesn’t understand. There is a lack of morals and integrity in every aspect here. You are just a number to them. Don’t ever think you’re important for a second. They don’t care about you having a personal life and what bills you need to pay. They expect you to work 5-6 days a week with ZERO PTO or OT, and they also don’t tell you you don’t receive those things until after the fact. Your commission is taxed separately than your hourly pay which they don’t inform you about either. They pay people based upon performance. Understandable in a sales job, but tenure should also pay a huge factor in that compensation. They don’t promote unless you sell outrageous amounts of internet and TV because that’s ALL they care about. There is ZERO sales integrity. A lot of people lie to customers just to get a sale and make them look good. They place people in positions they don’t deserve. Higher ups will smile in your face but question if you deserve a single dollar raise after spending 80% of your time a year working in their store for peanuts. You are micromanaged and babysat like you are a child. There’s more harping about dumb stuff than a simple “thank you for trying” every now and again. They want you to force things down people’s throats like a used care salesman but will harp about the “customer experience” being “the best”. Moral of this novel is DONT APPLY. I hope for the people who own this company it’s a simple case of they don’t know what’s really going on within their lower leadership, and not that they do know and they think it’s right. Because like it or not, you need sales reps to run your stores, and if you continue to treat people the way I’ve been treated you’ll be left with no reps to make you richer year in and year out.

Pros

Clock out time and the customers

Cons

Everything. I wish I had known the difference in corporate and a authorized retailer before I took the position. If you are not a manager this company does not care about you they only act like they care about you when you’re directv submissions are high. They pay is horrible you only get paid $10 an hour plus commission and commission checks are garbage just like this company. They have nothing to offer you no benefits no overtime you can work long holiday hours and you will not receive any over time. They expect you to drive an 1.5 or more for trainings and company gatherings and they will not pay you for mileage or gas they treat you like kids and talk to you like kids. These jobs are for Hs students and college students not for adults with families and real bills. Oh and don’t get sick because there is no paid vacation or paid sick time off oh and they’ll also terminate you and call it JOB ABANDONMENT even if you have doctors notes. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS JANKY COMPANY....one star is definitely overrated
