The pay was a little under the standard market rates for my position, and my position was expanded multiple times with no corresponding wage increases. Any efficiency improvements I made were punished, eventually resulting in my termination when the processes were improved so greatly that they "no longer required a full-time employee" for those tasks.
Communication of expectations was non-existent, and some promises were never met. A "50% work from home" contract turned out to be "if you work from home, everyone assumes you don't work at all, so stop working from home".
