Pros

None that I could see.

Cons

Lowest bidder = Low salaries When they take over a contract from an incumbent, they try to get the intellectual property of the incumbent from its former employees (such as Project Management Templates). This is a violation of the Non-Disclosure Agreement that the employee had signed with the incumbent.

Thank you for taking the time to share this experience. This doesn’t sound like a typical practice at ProSphere. We are very sorry for your negative experience and have taken steps to review our internal processes where contracts and incumbents are involved.

Pros

Its a job, much better than working at a gas station or McDonalds. They give you a gift card to buy a turkey during Thanksgiving.

Cons

No raises. [Even McDonalds employees get raises] Management doesn't know you. President comes down and makes it mandatory to come shake his hand and tell you that his .50 cent landyards with peel and stick logos should be worn, even though the made in China sticker lasts longer. He also tells you that he ran out of coffee mugs because he brought a box of 20 to a place where he employs 90+. You get emails telling you to reply to company functions like mandatory after hour drinking sessions (which promote drinking and driving). You have to reply to emails to tell them you are not attending. Overtime is discouraged. Comp time rarely gets comp'ed. As an employee, you have to write your own employee reviews because management has no clue what you do. Team Leads and Supervisors don't make any extra money for the work they have to do.

We are very sorry to hear about your experience at ProSphere. This is not the type of experience we would like for our employees. As a small company, we always strive to do better at communicating and connecting with our employees nationwide. We recently hired two new reputable leaders in roles that we expect to help us better manage our workforce and provide excellent service delivery to both our employees and our customers. In addition, we try to find the best way to support our employees by providing opportunities for comradery and team building. Some examples of this would be our annual family picnics, our holiday parties/open houses, team dinners, and sports outings. Our goal is not to promote drinking but to provide avenues in a non-formal setting where employees can get to know each other and their managers.

Pros

I was able to try out new skills. The President attempted to mentor me, but I agree with the other reviewers that the negatives far outweigh the positives. Good pay.

Cons

We would tell potential bidding partners that we had work where we actually did not/never had experience with that agency. Agree with the reviewer that says this company will steal templates and materials from teaming partners (other contractors) that are entering into a trusting business relationship with them. This is deplorable. I got out as soon as I observed what was going on. There was constant distorting of the facts - to the extreme.
