Pros

The only advantage of this company is the competitive salary.

Cons

- Trust me when I say that no amount of money is worth the nightmare of working under an aggressive and overbearing boss. It's a disgrace that this management style can persist in the workplace. Avoid this company like the plague unless you enjoy being verbally abused and belittled daily. - When I was working at this company, burnout was a regular occurrence. Working at full speed, even on weekends or late at night, was the norm, and meeting deadlines was the only thing that mattered. - At this company, the development process is nonexistent. Planning is pointless because requirements are not defined effectively due to rushed timelines. Unrealistic deadlines are set for developing numerous features, and when developers raise concerns about time constraints, they are ignored. As a result, the engineers in charge of development are always blamed for any issues. - I want to highlight the terrible treatment I received from the VP of Engineering, who, on multiple occasions, showed aggression towards other team members and me. Despite portraying themselves as kind and empathetic, they would often yell at subordinates, making threats of termination. So it's clear this person has anger management issues that must be addressed.

Pros

* Competitive salary, but in the end, they didn't pay it all... * The last engineering team was really great, with great communication, and open to collaboration (but they were layoff) * Remote/ Home Office

Cons

I worked at this company for two years and can say without a doubt that it was the worst professional experience of my life. There were absolutely no pros to working here, aside from the decent pay, which wasn't worth dealing with the toxic work environment. The CTO was completely unprofessional and lacked any management skills. He had a terrible anger issue and would regularly take out his frustrations on the team. When things didn't go his way, he would blame the team for his own mistakes. The team was constantly scrambling to meet last-minute changes, which made it impossible to complete a sprint successfully. The worst part about working here was the way management treated employees. You weren't treated like a human being, and coworkers were fired in humiliating ways. I witnessed the CTO yell at an employee in front of the entire team, which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. If you're considering working for this company, my advice to you is to run in the opposite direction. The management is terrible, and the CTO's unprofessional behavior makes it impossible to work here without feeling constantly stressed and anxious. The CEO should seriously consider learning more about application development and changing the management structure to make this a better place to work.
