Management does not value staff

Pros

Clinical team members are skilled professionals, who are good team players and enjoyable to work with.

Cons

Management micro-manages staff (e.g. clinicians do not control their own calender, lunch breaks are scheduled), uses threats and intimidation to manage undesirable employee behaviour and does not invest in employee development. High employee turnover. Significant pay differential that does not appear to be based on merit or qualifications.

Pros

-Members of the clinical team were supportive and collaborative.

Cons

-Extremely poor pay. -There is no ongoing training or professional development seminars from experienced psychologists. -Individual and group supervision does not foster an environment of growth and exploration. -The building is old, depressing, and deprived of the warmth that constitutes a safe therapeutic environment -Management do not have knowledge of the field. -Marketing is poor. -There is no company morale. No dedicated company meetings or team bonding exercises. Turnover is high! At the date of writing this review (April, 2023), 6 staff have left.

Pros

Other staff were collaborative and the stressful environment, made for strong friendships.

Cons

No career progression Management did not show, they value staff. No professional development supplied, despite being promised. No maternity leave supplied to permanent staff. Forced leave for extended period over summer. Does not support hybrid model, work from home. We're limited in the diversity they accepted. Many educated staff overlooked for career progression. Micromanagement of staff.
