There’s one thing you can be sure of on your first day at Purchasing Platform: the chances are good that one day you will be fired. * In the last four years, there has been over 100% involuntary turnover. It didn’t matter if they were the most junior customer support rep. It didn’t matter if they were a vice president. You could work there for several years or just a month. You could even be great at your job– two people in 2025 got fired within six months of getting promoted, and my last three performance reviews before my number came up got two exceeds-expectations and a sets-a-new-standard. Everyone gets fired. If you have any wish for any kind of employment stability, run, run, run away from this place. * There’s one more thing you can depend on: the CEO will pat himself on the back for how nice he was when he fired you. Really, someone’s got to tell this dude that you can’t fire all those people and still be the good guy.
