Pros
Mature and professional work environment with clearly defined responsibilities and roles. Plenty of resources available to get the job done, from the technically competent management to motivated and helpful coworkers. Pay is average, as are benefits. Telecommuting opportunities were available. The print industry is well established and isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
Cons
Work flow is up and down -- slow weeks make for creative application of one's hours, while hard weeks can chew up 60 hours or more. Career can plateau after a while, as upgrading skills is generally not necessary.
