Pros

Very cool environment where everyone on the team is extremely talented. All team members "wear many hats" but are experts at their given field. CEO is very knowledgable about marketing best practices and strategy. Opportunities for internal growth are available.

Cons

Work life balance - most of the team works long/after hours. Very fast-paced and demanding. Sometimes you can feel like you're asked to accomplish tasks that you're not comfortable undertaking and are outside of your comfort zone and expertise. Undergoing growth, which can cause some pains.

Great feedback. On the training front, the leadership team has a laser focus on further improving our on-boarding training so that it becomes world class. Just being competitive with our industry peers on this front is not good enough. When it comes to working outside of your comfort zone, it’s true that we have asked this of team members and will continue to, as I see it as an investment in an employee’s development. I look back on those experiences in my career, where my former leaders entrusted me to tackle something new, and I can see how it notably impacted my development. Wishing you all the best with your next career adventure.

Pros

RedRover is seriously the most organized marketing agency I've ever seen. Everything is thought out. There are goals in place for growth with attached metrics (if you're in the marketing agency world, you know how fleeting that concept is). You're set up for success from the time you entire the door. They understand how every part of the processes, everyone on the team, etc impacts the success of the agency, individual employees and client businesses. While there are so many great processes in place, the CEO and leadership team understand that innovation and different ways of thinking are important. "Because it's always been done that way" is never said– if you have an idea to make something better, it's fully encouraged. Everyone is always learning and working to make the company better. Oh, and doing the right thing is a priority at RedRover, which is so refreshing.

Cons

If you're not ready for a challenging + demanding career, this isn't the place for you. You're set up for success and supported, but if you don't want to be a driver you could easily catch yourself overwhelmed and falling behind. RR is fast paced and challenging– there's never a slow moment.

It makes my heart sing to hear that new pack members feel so well set up for success. That's definitely our goal. While we work vigorously to make that happen -- through comprehensive and intentional on-boarding and crafting of clear 30/60/90 day metrics -- I'm always concerned that the busy nature of agency life gets in the way of our intentions. And to hear that our "agents of change" core value is coming through so early on is equally gratifying. Thank you for sharing your views! Pack life clearly suits you.

Pros

Salary was decent. If you believe in buttoned-up presentations this company is big on that. Management makes sure every presentation is ready to go before delivery.

Cons

I felt like I was set up for failure. There wasn't enough trust from management in employees to do their job. I felt we were looking over our shoulder constantly instead of just having the freedom to work. I believe the ability to fail just a bit makes an employee better and an improved product for the client.

I really appreciate your feedback. We have that same philosophy about rewarding team members willing to step out and make decisions, even if they aren’t always perfect. That’s how you learn and grow. I was certainly given the freedom to make my fair share of mistakes throughout my career, and I learned from each and every one of them. I also agree that honesty is vital, and I am proud of the honesty and integrity that exist within our team. If you would like to talk with me directly about your unique experience at RedRover, please call me at the office. We wish you the best of luck in your career endeavors, and thank you for taking the time to offer your input.
