I worked at Rio Tinto full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Heavenly if you are white and male or just white/foreign/exotic

    Cons

The Singapore office is a self-serving colonial masters heaven made even more legit by HR. Incompetent and unqualified staff are consistently promoted e.g. there are non finance qualified people (e.g. not finance degreed or finance trained) in senior positions in finance. There are people without degrees in positions where a basic degree would be required (including in HR) in a normal company, and the lack of accountabilities and responsibilities is appalling.
