Pros

- You might get lucky and work with some of the few real experts still there - Some still try hard which can be inspiring, but inevitably you will be shut down by one of the cons

Cons

- Not much better anymore than Brightside or UL - Middle management is rampantly expanding and clueless - Upper management is clueless - Senior sales is some of the worst you will find - Salary is okay but nothing great, won't be able to afford any reasonable house in the area on it - Fake culture of innovation, any good idea will get cannibalized by product managers who failed upwards - Management likes to see senior experts go so they can doubly hire back juniors - There is a strong act of caring about "cool security stuff", while the only incentive is on pushing revenue

Pros

Extremely high technical expertise. Very broad range of topics and areas of Embedded Security. From the silicon (and literally physics) to the app, to the device, to..the rest. Projects can be extremely varied and out of the typical projects you may find in other companies. Top notch equipment is available and world leading tools are used (and created!) projects. The environment is friendly, creative, relaxed and people are extremely willing to share knowledge and help. Work/life balance and employee well being are priorities for the company culture. In such multinational and multicultural environment, everybody seem to the get along just as fine as it could. Things like team competition and discrimination are outside of the company culture. On the contrary, you may find yourself staying late, just because you like the environment, the challenges and the friends. You get the feeling to be part of a group of friends, who just happen to challenge security in such a natural and sophisticated way, like it is almost seen only in movies. The tremendous boost of knowledge, the great challenges, the broad and varied projects and the great environment make it a really unique place where to work, grow and live in.

Cons

Growing, and even more growing fast, bring the usual "growth pain" to surface. The overall organization, such as in processes and approaches, has the need to adapt quickly to such fast growing track, while still retaining its culture Although this is natural, it may require some more energy and patience than in larger and already settled organizations.

Pros

Great and creative people with a drive to bend and break the rules of reality. Play with new tech thingies long before they hit the market. Plenty of opportunities to take on if you want to. Great place to learn new stuff and develop yourself as well as the company.

Cons

The usual pains associated with growing up. Becoming a bigger company somehow makes for a more boring company. This could be seen as a positive development by those who like structure, stability and predictability more than chaos, creativity, and improvisation.
