Pros

Great junior friendly team to work with

Cons

Since the new CEO was brought in to lead a restructuring, the company culture has deteriorated rapidly. While restructuring can be necessary, the process here has lacked transparency, empathy, and basic respect for staff. Communication from leadership is almost non-existent, and decisions are routinely made without input from the people most affected. There are some excellent mid-level managers who genuinely care about their teams and try to maintain a positive environment. Unfortunately, they are not senior enough to influence key decisions or challenge upper management, which has led to many of them leaving the company. Staff morale is very low, and employees often deal with the fallout of poor executive decisions. Pay is below industry standards, and job security is extremely limited — several employees have been let go after asking for fair compensation. Many people feel psychologically unsafe and unsupported due to the current leadership approach. Overall, this has become a highly toxic workplace with low morale, poor communication, and almost no stability. I would not recommend applying here unless there are major leadership and cultural changes.

Pros

The junior team are genuinely kind, hard working and supporting of each other both professionally and personally.

Cons

What was once a genuinely great place to work has been derailed by a recent restructuring. The change in senior leadership has created a toxic and unhealthy environment where morale has declined. There is a noticeable lack of compassion and empathy from senior management toward skilled, hardworking employees. Many staff members have voiced concerns about growing issues, but feedback has repeatedly been ignored, leading to frustration, burnout, and a very high level of staff turnover. The company has also become extremely inflexible, operating with a culture of control rather than trust. Staff are closely monitored, including entry and exit times, which adds to the sense of micromanagement and pressure. There is little to no consideration for work-life balance or individual circumstances, which has contributed heavily to the decline in employee wellbeing. Communication within the company is virtually non-existent. Important decisions are made without consulting or even informing the people directly affected by them. As a result, poor decisions are frequent and it’s often junior employees who are left to manage the fallout. This lack of collaboration and transparency (which is ironic given that their business model is built around collaboration) has led to there being no trust between leadership and staff. Pay is far below what would be considered fair for the level of responsibility expected. The company frequently hires young, inexperienced staff in an attempt to cut costs, but then places heavy workloads and unrealistic expectations on them. This approach might save money in the short term, but it has created a workforce that feels undervalued, unsupported, and insecure about their future. In short, the company has lost what once made it special. The culture is toxic, the communication is broken, and leadership is disengaged from the reality faced by their teams. Staff morale is low, and turnover continues to rise as talented people choose to leave due to a demoralising environment. If you value respect, fair pay, and a healthy workplace culture, I would strongly advise avoiding this company.

Challenging environment with declining morale and unclear growth paths

Pros

The ops team are nice and there are free lunches, but there isn’t much else to highlight positively.

Cons

The working environment has become increasingly challenging over the past few years, with morale noticeably declining over time. Communication from leadership is often inconsistent, and decisions can be made with very little transparency or consultation with the teams affected. Expectations frequently change with little notice, creating confusion and unnecessary pressure for staff. There appears to be limited clarity around progression and development opportunities, making long-term growth within the company difficult to see. Workload expectations can feel unrealistic at times relative to the level of support available, and employees are often expected to simply “get on with it” without meaningful guidance or resourcing. Management can at times feel disorganised and reactive rather than proactive, with issues repeatedly raised internally but not properly addressed. There is also a noticeable disconnect between leadership and day-to-day staff experiences, which has contributed to frustration across parts of the business. There is a wider feeling among some employees that commercial priorities are often placed ahead of employee wellbeing. In addition, communication from certain individuals can at times come across as passive-aggressive, dismissive, or unprofessional, which negatively affects the overall working environment.
