Pros

People are lovely and the work is varied and interesting

Cons

Salary is very poor with little chance of increases. Very badly managed with no one able to make decisions quickly or effectively. The hierarchy of the company send the message that they value their staff but in reality they have shown the opposite and have very little respect for staff or the hard work that they do.

Excellent organisation with potential but not the right leadership team

Pros

As with any other organisation, there are nice colleagues.

Cons

Questionable leadership with dubious decisions; myopic thinking which doesn't focus on long-term growth but short-term gains. Both technology and organisational innovation are behind. Cultural values are set in stone but it was evidently scarce in practice especially amongst the leadership team. Lack of open and transparent communication so there's no trust. Leaders are known to throw their subordinates under the bus. Unethical and disrespectful practices which is strange why they even had an ethics hotline. The only way to get around or to have progression is to curry favour. I have personally witnessed people saying "it's not my job" and walked away when it was rightfully their job to do, HR actually. The organisation doesn't reward or appreciate people who go out of their way to take on more responsibilities. Again, you progress as long as you know how to curry favour.
